Origin KeyStrokes 3.6 On-Screen Keyboard (Mac OS X)
Origin KeyStrokes 3.6 On-Screen Keyboard (Mac OS X)

KeyStrokes is a soft keyboard that generates an image of a keyboard on the Macintosh display for those who cannot enter text using a hard keyboard. A mouse or a mouse emulator is used to select and enter characters by pointing and clicking on the keys. Operations that require simultaneous actuation of more than one key are performed using the special sticky key feature of KeyStrokes. This allows command key and other modifier key-click combinations to be performed. Characters are sent to applications running natively on OS 9 (KeyStrokes 3.1), OS 10 and into applications running in Classic Mode.

Seven resizable keyboard layouts are provided, including a numer pad layout. The layouts differ by whether they include a number pad, function keys, navigation keys and ordering of the keys in qwerty or alphabetical order. The simple keyboard layouts are suited for children or people with limited cognitive ability. Key separation and other aspects of key and keyboard background appearance can be modified. The keyboards can be resized by selecting several preset sizes or they can be drag sized like any window. All international keyboards supported by the operating system are supported by KeyStrokes.
